為整合本校產學合作資源，並拓展國內外產學合作關係，於99年8月1日整合原「創新育成中心」與「產學經營暨專利技轉中心」，正式設立一級單位「產學營運總中心」，統籌全校產學合作事務、專利申請與維護，以及創新育成相關管理與業務推動，期望提升整體效能，強化產學合作成果。

隨著高等教育發展趨勢及本校校務推展需求，「產學營運總中心」於107年8月1日正式更名為「產學營運處」。同時增設二級單位「創新創業發展中心」，專責推動創新創業工作；並將原「產學經營暨專利技轉中心」更名為「產業聯絡暨專利技轉中心」，以強化區域產業鏈結；原「創新育成中心」亦更名為「產業加速器暨育成中心」，擴大育成資源與服務範疇，全面提升本校產學合作與創新發展效能。

因應國際產學合作發展及組織調整需求，於108年8月1日起增設二級單位「產業聯絡中心」，並將原「產業聯絡暨專利技轉中心」更名為「產學合作暨專利技轉中心」，以建立更完整且具國際接軌能力之產學合作服務體系。

為進一步強化本校產學合作業務整體效能，打造串聯研發能量與產業技術需求之專業服務平台，促進產學研合作、人才媒合與新創事業孵育，並發揮科研成果之規模經濟效益，於112年8月1日整併原「產業聯絡中心」與「產學合作暨專利技轉中心」，成立「產學平台暨專利技轉中心」，建構上下游產學服務體系，提升從技術端至產業端的精準媒合效率，促進產學合作成果實質落地，並以縱向整合的組織架構，打造完善且具持續推動力之產學合作服務體系，全面強化科研成果轉化效益。

To integrate the university’s industry-academia collaboration resources and expand both domestic and international partnerships, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) established the Executive Operation Center for Industry-Academia Cooperation (EOCIA) on August 1, 2010, by merging the former Innovation Incubation Center and Center for Industry Operation and Technology Licensing. This newly formed first-tier unit took charge of managing university-wide industry-academia collaboration affairs, patent application and maintenance, as well as innovation incubation-related operations. The goal was to improve overall efficiency and strengthen the outcomes of such collaborations.

In response to the evolving trends of higher education and the university’s development needs, the office was officially renamed to the Executive Operation Office for Industry-Academia Cooperation(EOOIA) on August 1, 2018. At the same time, three second-tier divisions were established and renamed:

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center was set up to focus exclusively on the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The former Center for Industry Operation and Technology Licensing was renamed to the Industry Liaison and Technology Licensing Center to strengthen regional industrial connectivity.

The former Innovation Incubation Center was renamed to the Industry Accelerator & Incubation Center, broadening incubation resources and services, and comprehensively enhancing CYCU’s innovation development capacity.

To meet the growing needs of international cooperation and organizational restructuring, the Industry Liaison Center was added as a second-tier unit on August 1, 2019. Concurrently, the Industry Liaison and Technology Licensing Center was renamed to the Industry-Academia Collaboration and Technology Licensing Center, aiming to establish a more comprehensive and internationally aligned industry-academia service system.

Further advancing the university’s mission to strengthen the overall effectiveness of industry-academia operations, on August 1, 2023, CYCU consolidated the Industry Liaison Center and the Industry-Academia Collaboration and Technology Licensing Center to form the Industry-Academia Platform & Technology Licensing Center. This center connects upstream R&D with downstream industrial needs, promotes precise matchmaking from technologies to industries, and establishes a vertically integrated and sustainable service platform. The new structure is designed to facilitate the practical implementation of collaboration outcomes and maximize the economic benefits of academic research transformation.
